Here's some good, lumpy-faced toys for still-life sketching practice.

Cake Pans have great colors

Consume your cartoon idols.

Cake pans have been a fascination of mine for a while, lots of unique shapes.
I especially love Wilton cake pans because of the images of the finished cakes included with said pans.

Beautiful colors and varying shades:

Lumpy Fun With Tom and Jerry

One of the best ways to learn how to draw is to do life drawing; just sketch pictures of any things you can find in your house. That's a basic lesson I learned from community college.

One of the best kinds of objects to use for life sketching are Toys.
For the sake of this practice session, I randomly looked for Tom and Jerry toys and found some great "Lumpy Head" toys from the 80s.

Here is my whole page of lumpy head sketches from today:

I like this one especially, real mankey!

Not the most accurate drawing (obviously), but still.

Puppets are great for designing cartoon characters, especially older ones.

More cartoon heads for you:

Critters for the meantime

I like to do lots of drawings of strange, nonexistent creatures; sometimes, I digitize them. Have some to tide you over, in both transparent and JPG variations.
